No, we didnt take it clear down to the paint etc. We'd screen them, them buff them then reapply several coats of really thick varnish/sealer/wax whatever it is.

Off the topic, you are obviously a very bitter person who feels very self important , otherwise there'd be no need to bold every comment you make. As far as your disability whining, like someone said the only one who continues to harp on that is you. The couple of other people here with disabilities handle them with grace and courage while your approach is bitchiness and venom.
