Lovely.
I missed the alarm today too. I broke several bottles of ale the other night. Wish I'd seen that coming. So much spilled beer. The horror..... The horror.....

I tend to avoid adopting brew from places like that. To me Mexico, Jamaica, and Asian nations just don't bring beer to mind, though they do bring killer weed to mind. I'll adopt my beer and ale from reputable agencies in Europe and the US micro's.

they were the day and evening of the Ellis tornado. We started following the TIV from Voda to Wakeeney, then partway to Hill City. The first video shows them turning around partway to HC to go back and head to Ness City

maybe Ellis county should implement a cloud seeding program and see if that helps us. Other areas do it and get increased rain as a result of the effort

We're right on the eastern edge of the 30% bubble. 30% is much better than the 60% they were talking about over here, on Friday's noon news.

The one thing I've learned about weather long range forcasts concerning thunderstorms is you look where they think they'll be, expand that radius by about double and then wait to see where it will happen. They are improving on predicting when it will happen, but can still be hundreds of miles off as to where the worst will be. The only time I count them out is when the dry line has passed by. The tornados that hit Yocemento a few years back in October were completely unexpected.

Yeah, we got the wind. Had it all day yesterday. Luckily, we didn't get any hail this time. Everybody has someone else's stuff in their yard (no one has fences here, so things were free to fly). We did get about 3" of rain, though it would have been nice if it were a steady trickle, instead of buckets.
