| In watching the election coverage lately, the name "Weather Underground" has been coming up as a past terrorist group. Is there any connection between that and the current weather service the forum uses? I haven't found anything to prove anything one way or another. Anyone know anything? | |

| Search anything on the net and totally unrelated things similarly named will almost always come up. Some days I'd say the US Weather Service is a terrorist group. Their forecasts have ruined my day many a time. | |

| Bill Ayers was an active member of the Weathermen. He never did apologize for his terroristic bombings. Obama and Ayers were on some community organization committee that was intended to improve schools in Illinois. The schools did not improve but Ayers moved to a real nice house and got a real nice car. Pretty nice rewards for bombing America. | |

| Oh, I'm sure Obambi will be elected, regardless of how many bad associations he may have. It's a scary thought. | |

However, Ayers has never shown any remorse, and in fact has said as recently as 2005 that he regrets that they were not more successful, which would have meant more dead Americans. He should be in prison, not indoctrinating college students into his America-hating way of thinking. By the way, the Obamamania media brought up Todd Palin's DUI, which occured 25 years ago, and seemed to think that it should disqualify his wife from running for Vice President. They forgot to mention that in that same time frame, Obama was, according to his autobiography, using hard drugs on the streets of Chicago. Is it okay to bring that up?

Good enough friend that he started his political career in Ayers living room. I never said Obama was running with him when Ayers bombed America. Obama should have been aware of Ayers history at some point and distanced himself accordingly. But instead he buddied up and funneled money to him that should have gone to improve schools. Not create a subculture of blacks that hate America while they suck the financial blood out of the system.

| I vaguely recall some of that stuff from the early 70's. Weather Underground was one of the anti-war radical groups that took out bombing campaigns on government buildings. I agree, Obama sure seems to associate with real anti-America types. The guy worries me seriously. | |

The Capitol, the Pentagon, NYPD Headquarters... Isn't it ironic that they were antiwar yet used violent tactics against their own country?
