| "A business decision pure and simple" .... Ultimately the responsiblity of the success of a business lies with the leader of the operation. Layoffs and shutting down the presses for the first time in history is not success. And given that I have heard more complaints about the integrety, the substance and the layout of the paper over the last 5 years than ever before indicates to me that it's not just the "times" I have spoken with city officials who have complained about being intentionally misquoted or misrepresented by your " authoritative sources". Gives cronnies a leg up when you can influence so many unenlightened souls. It's a mark of character (or lack of) in how one uses the power of the press .... and in regards to that, Karma does come back to bite you.?
BTW, how many background checks have you done on your "good people"?
One would think if one hires an employee featured in a book which implicates her in a crime of sexual abuse of children you might reconsider this person's employment. Seems one doesn't have a clue (or simply doesn't care) of the character of the people that that surrounds them.

| A person of character does not visit a web-based forum only to stir the pot until it boils. And then write an editorial telling the unknowing public just how low and vile these people on the forum are.
However, Karma ruled the day. If it weren't for members that were banned from this site only the crickets would be chirping over there.
Can't help but wonder if Double Slit is Mike's sockpuppet.

| Jotting down 2 and 3 word notes to try to remember whole paragraphs accounts for alot of the misquotes and out of context remarks. Reporters should record interviews or write faster. | |

| I don't know that it will give you more content than a good ole' hard copy of the paper will. If I'm not mistaken you can get the online access with your subscription to the hard copy of the paper. But I'm not sure about that. | |

When I was a regular subscriber, they told me nothing about the online edition having more content. Excellent question! The only things I can find that require an account are managing your delivered subscription and receiving a PDF version of the paper.
