Beond Closing

I heard that Beond is closing and they are closing their doors in 2 weeks. I guess that's Karma coming back and biting the owner in the ass for the way she treats her stylists out there.

no I still have 20.00 in gift cert. to use out there!!! What could I get for 20.00?

Probably nothing. Their stuff is way too over priced, and now that walmart sells RUSK and other salon products, I just buy everything there!


I got my hair done at beond (not my choice) for a wedding recently and EVERYONE there acted really bitchy and like the world was coming to an end. I guess that explains it. I've heard nothing but horror stories about Kim and how she treats the stylists.

I work in a noisy place and the first couple times I heard it on the radio it sounded like they were saying Beeeeooootch.

It better not be! I got a gift cert. for a massage and a facial from there for mothers day and I havent had a chance to use it yet!

Talked to someone who used to work out there, apparently this is true. Kind of what they get for being a snooty overpriced beauty shop.

Damn I got to get my ass out there then!!!!

I agree they better, or at least offer a cash back type of deal. But who knows if they are that short on cash they may just make the gift cards void.

Indeed, I asked my stylist friend about your call and she said "They arent going to admit to that." She also said that several of the people she knows that work out there said they were not going to have jobs come Monday. This could all be a rumor but if I was sitting on a gift vert that big I'd be trying to get it done quickly just in case.

Well one of the ladies I know her daughter use to work out there, and when the news was broke that they were going to have to close she got a job elsewhere.


I think it's just a matter of time before they lock the doors.

they claim that they can't give me money back, but the owners will honor it with the next salon they are in. WTF? That is a horrible way to do business. We just got screwed out of $160 and what can I do about it?

Jamie I heard today that someone had a gift cert and they were able to go out there and use it on Salon Products. Not sure if there is anything left but might be an option.

Thats just not right!!!!! They should have let everyone know they were closing. I know many people that have GC's from out there!!!!!

Oh I agree whole completely. Not a professional way to behave at all. I think it was doubly bad that they lied to Jamie when she called out there but I also kind of expected it.

Unfortunately stores closing are not required by law to honor gift certificates. But it's not exactly promoting future business for the owners. Yeah NB, I don't imagine you'll get alot of takers on the massage if it might mean your mister would massage their face with his knuckles.
