Don't remember when a cold snap was this early, or lasted this long. We always get one, but geez.

2 cold days in december? omg!!! you are so right!!!! everybody panic!!!!

You ought to try them nights. Fresh water freezes fast when it hits that cold iron.

This is late January/early February weather. I want spring!

My sidewalks are all cleared. The leaf blower worked great. The wind was out of the NE. Important to work with it.

Enjoying a cup of hot chocolate now. Rather than cursing and complaining, I've decided to embrace and enjoy the weather.

I hate driving on slick streets. I guess I am just a scaredy cat!!

this weather sucks. My kids were on the bus that was involved in the minor accident today. Some dude in a pickup came flying around the corner and slid into the bus. Some people just don't get it.

Good. I hate this crap. Might look nice with my lights reflecting in the snow but I wish it was warm enough to melt on the roads.

I'm ready for it to warm up a bit. I can handle 20 degree weather but this single digit crap sucks especially with the wind.

My dopey son is shoveling snow in shorts. It's 10° out there.

He was going to.

He's 6'2" and 210lbs... I was lucky getting him to put shoes on.

Getting stranded and having to walk a couple miles through snow would change their minds. Kids nowdays have no concept of things not going perfect for them. Probably figure no matter what happens their cell phones will save them from having to walk. But there are valleys and dead spots cell phones can't get out of.

Just heard Merrill say that we are in a Freezing Rain advisory for later on tonight and tomorrow. I hope this isn't a repeat of new year's eve 2006.

Same here. Power was out and my water heater sprung a leak and flooded the cellar. I was bailing water in the dark on New Years Eve.

That would suck Ratz! Our son-in-law's brother got killed in a car wreck that day. That was an awful day with dreadful weather!

Sorry to hear that SG. Accidents and illness are the biggest reasons I hate this weather.

I am thanks! I would like to credit in part to one of my friends making me have a couple of beverages at our Christmas party the other night!!!

Does Buff go the VA in Wichita? If so what is his opinion of the VA hospital there? My dad goes to the VA doctors there and I'm not to impressed with them.

he is in so much pain when he lays flat on his back that he cant sit still. they have even done conscious sedation and still didnt get it. 3 failures so far.

My parents use the Va in Topeka and have no issues

That's why I suggested crown it works for me!! I wanted this time. But seriously, i can't believe they can't figure out how to make him comfortable and get this done already! I can understand you frustration!!!!

they refuse to do a simple xray and see if they can see any problems, i dont get it

They have diagnosed my dad with the sleep apneia (sp) for this breathing problems and not able to lose weight. I'm concerned with his slow heartbeat but they say its just from not getting enough rest at night.
