LAWRENCE | Basketball coach Bill Self today signed a contract with Kansas that will pay him $30 million over the next 10 years.
Self, who coached the Jayhawks to their first NCAA crown in 20 years last April, nearly doubled his previous compensation of $1.61 million. Self is now under contract through March 2018.
