well no snow. The streets in ellis cant even keep the snow if they wanted to!!!

seems to me every time hace puts stuff down on the streets everything goes around us and when the don't put anything down we get hit

well Since we live in Ellis county , Im assuming it will peter out!!!! But its nice to see it. As I typed this it stopped snowing here as much already!!!!

I think the only "blizzard" i seen today was driving back to work, going down Vine there was a small place right by the mall where the snow was blowing across the road to where it made it hard to see for about 50 feet.

Ok Im offically PISSED!!!!!! I wanted snow!!!!!!!! Where in the HECK is all my snow??? Like not even a inch is over here in Ellis, I live in the wrong county. I am moving closer to Salina!!!!

We've got a combination of sleet and freezing rain here. Not going to be a good drive in to Topeka, in the morning, to take the kid to work.

hmm wonder if we will be able to make it home tomorrow...

There were quite a few accidents on bridges/overpasses this morning, and it wasn't that bad yet. Hwy 75 over the Kaw River (Kansas River), scares me. My husband just got back from a meeting in KC and he said the I-70 was still pretty good. Hopefully, it stays that way for your trip home.

global warming sucks

It's been sleeting hard for most of the day here in Wichita. Couple inches of 1/4" ice balls... winds gusting to about 45. Suppost ta change to snow tonight... keep snowin' all night and most of tomorrow.

Nope PASS on the ice thank you very much for the offer though.

Just shoveled 3" of chunky slush off the porch. It's now turned to freezing rain!

Can't wait 'til the power goes out. I'll have to drive over to the college to report for Troll Duty.

Not one damn bit. I do feel sorry for my relation in Wichita and Towanda. But not Merrill Teller. One year it snowed big here and he kept rubbing it in how we were so much colder than Wichita because of our snowpack. Enjoy it Merrill

I'm not taking him to work. I hope he doesn't get in too much trouble, but I'm not risking our lives for him to make 10-15 dollars today. Roads are icy up here and it's still coming down as freezing rain.

That's what I told my husband. He said to take the kid to work anyway; he knows how they treat the roads. I say he's full of shit. Don't risk it. I couldn't keep up with the ice build up on my vehicle, with the defrost on high. Freezing rain is still coming down, here.

snow is still yet to start in KC, but there is a thick layer of ice on everything. I am glad we decided to not risk it.

In my own corner of the Wichita Ghetto, we have about 3" of solid ice covered by another 5" of snow... still comin' down.

my mom is in the hospital there at via christi and she said it looked really nasty. Hope it clears by monday so they can transfer her out!

I heard distant family down south in Oklahoma had 40 inches of snow. I bet there are some happy kiddos dow there!!!!( if they had the right clothes that is)

Its still snowing here in KC. It has been since about 1. The flakes were pretty big there for awhile. The roads are slushy and will be a mess by dark, but we're staying in for the weekend!

I measure an unremarkable 6'1", myself... but I felt like a giant in Hays.
