I was up in Rooks County. Several farms south of Palco were hit. At least 5 farms I know of. No injuries I know of but numerous buildings and lots of trees and power poles destroyed.

Do you do ride-alongs in your tit????

Softball and baseball sized hail in NE Kansas. My small town dodged the bullet, but Manhattan was hit with flying softballs. Storms moving southeast... seems to be over for us.

Hey. Out in Manhattan here. We got the crap beat out of us yesterday morning, but only in a small area. Out by the airport, my callcenter had 13 large holes knocked in the roof by the hail. We had 13 skylights and they all came down at the same time. BOOM!! Every car in our lot was smashed. What a freaking mess. I have some pictures of the damage and the very large hail that I will try to post soon.

Glad you're okay, sorry about the van... that sucks!

On the news last night, they were showing footage of cattle getting pelted, with no place to go for shelter. They also showed a puppy that didn't find shelter quickly enough. Poor baby was just wimpering, the owner kept repeating, "it was too late".

So far it seems that Hace and Russell are dodging the bullet. I was out in Southeastern Russell County and southwestern Ellsworth county before I can into work and saw a nice rotating supercell. There are power lines down and grain bins blown over in Beaver.

yeah we are missing it all as well, darnit!!!!

Sounds painfull. I heard the circus elephants in Wakeeny got spooked and broke loose and were running around town.

Whoa~ Salina got hit by a tornado tonight.

Down by Magnolia. I havent heard of any injuries.

Apparently Chapman sustained a direct hit as well. Several homes destroyed.

They are now reporting injuries in Chapman and a tornado on the ground tearing through Manhattan by the K-State campus.

Engineering buildings took a hit at K-State, according to reports emailed in to WIBW, by folks who took shelter there.

TV said that the True Value in Manhattan is gone.

Reports of homes damaged in Soldier and Wetmore.

Miller Ranch area of Manhattan reported to be hardest hit part of town.
