Picnic

They idea of getting together for a 67601 picnic has been brought up several times.

What does everyone think of May 16 at Frontier Park?
I can bring burgers and the grill.

do we need to reserve a shelter?

I am having a garage sale that day (.......I will be there but after 1 or so, hopefully its still going on by then.

Im going to try to come, BUT im leaving my kids at home!

nothing is set yet folks, we are just getting ideas! FMW that probably wont be an issue, it might not start until later.

I was kinda leaning towards an evening meal, like last time.

And like last time, I will bring the duct tape for the kids.

Might go if I ain't dead by then. What's the weather 2 weeks from now? It will be either cold or warm, wet or dry, windy or calm, cloudy or sunny.

Just realized the Atwood Early Rod Run is that weekend, so we probably wont be in town, and I am assuming Nitro wont be either.... grr!

Does the 24th work? I work til 4 but an evening thing would work.

DARN. I wont be able to come if you guys decide on the weekend of June 7-8th, my surgery got moved to the 6th!!! You guys will have to be merry and eat LOTS for me!

Does he still get on here? If someone is a member of the HDNews forum, I think I remember seeing him on there, they could invite him through that. The 18th would probably work for me too. Been a long time since we had a get together!

my main concern is that no one will be able to come because they are going to be attending HHS graduation. See what is available.

Crap! That reminds me I need to go up next weekend to install tie rod ends on Mom's car.

17th is FHSU grad and 18th is HHS grad.

I would really like to attend this picnic and put faces on names but maybe we can expect some pics. After working in Hays for many years some are probably familiar, and some I know very well. Have a good time one and all.

My brother had one that said something to the effect of "Hookt on foniks wrkd fur me"

Yeah, I saw a couple different versions of that too. Somebody just had on a t-shirt the other day that was good but I can't recall what it said.
