Earth Day

It was today. Did anyone notice? Did anyone do anything for Earth Day.

I cut down a 30'+ cedar tree.

I raked leaves and cleaned out my culvert. Does that count?

My son asked me what we were going to do. I said.. um... you kids can clean up dog poo!

I peed in the bushes at the park.

Did anyone else realize that the grain used to produce a single gallon of bio-diesel would feed a starving child in a Third World country for an entire year?

I threw away about 100 plastic sacks today that will go in the landfill and never disinigrate and some will choke sea turtles--oh and I replaced all my burnt lightbulbs with 100 watt lightbulbs instead of fluorescents- J/K

I could plant some 9 volt batteries to see if a windfarm grows.

I was late for the "Earth Day" yet this week I saved 4 lamps,a space heater,a doggie bed and a desk chair from the land fill
