| HELP!!! Our tomatoes are still green yet - but everyone in town is giving us tomatoes by the bagful. I need a GOOD salsa recipe ASAP! I could handle spaghetti sauce & tomato soup recipes too!! | |

| Pineapple Roasted Red Pepper Salsa:
1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained 1 jarred roasted red pepper, cut into small dice 2 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves 1 teaspoon hot sauce Pinch salt
Place all the ingredients in a small mixing bowl and mix well. Place in a bowl and serve.
This is good stuff, but I suspect that you want to use your tomatoes.

| If you have a blender try this, put in 4 tomatoes, 4 habanero peppers, 4 jalapeno peppers, a little bit of crushed red pepper, some cilantra and blend. This will definitely taste good and make fire come out of your ass. | |

Have you looked on the Food Network website? There's a lot of recipes for tomatoes. As for soups, look for Tomato Basil Soup, Tomato Bisque, etc.

| I make a batch of salsa at least once a week. This is how I make it.
6 large tomatoes, remove the kin by blanching, first (really, takes no time). 3-4 whole jalapenos (depending on how hot you like it...I don't remove the seeds, because we like it hot) 1/2 red (why do they call it red, when it's purple, Mom?) onion dash of ground cayenne pepper onion salt to taste (this depends on how tomato-y your tomatoes taste) 1/2 a bunch of cilantro
I put it all into the food processor and pulse it until it's combined well. It's very simple to make, and you control the salt.
*If you've been to On the Border, and like their salsa, it's very similar to that.
