| It surprised me no one had started anything about the fair events yet, so here goes.
We attended the Combine demolititon derby last night and had a very enjoyable time. The weather was about as perfect as one could hope for The crowd that showed up for it was a bit larger than I think anyone anticipated, it seemed like the traffic into the fairgrounds would never stop, makes me glad that we got there as early as we did. The delay in the start of the event was a bit long, but considering the amount of traffic I can see why they held off starting. You could certainly tell who had the more experienced team but I think our local contestants gave a pretty good showing all things considered, next year they should come back much stronger. I also heard some of the spectators talking about entering in the event next year, so perhaps it will grow as time goes on. the only thing I would like to see is some improved lighting of the demo ring, maybe with some industrial lighting units placed on the north and south sides of the pit. | |

Artillery, flamethrowers, and claymores. Either that or get rid of some of the motorsports and replace it with nude female oil wrestling. | |
