His talk at the G20 sounded more like campaigning for president of the world than cooperation with the world, is what I believe g8ter is sayin'.

He and G. Brown are pushing one agenda while Germany and (Spain or France?) are pushing another agenda. G20 to be reconvened later this year.

I'm not up on recent developments. Been rather busy as of late.

Bush offered the equivelent of something like $1500 an acre not to grow poppies. They pretty much told him to get hosed since they could make much more if they did grow poppies. Obama will get the same answer with his stupidity. Wheat fields LOL...

Afghan weed is a vegetate on the couch stone. Potent and good for medical weed. Afghans already are experts at growing it, no special equipment needed like combines or trucks, it's way less dangerous than opiates and more profitable than wheat, and they could hose the Mexican drug gangs buy importing Afghan. Get the hint Mr. Obama? Bush was too dumb to see it, let's see if Obama can figure out the obvious.

opiates are so pure, they are like fruit juice...very powerful. We had to figure up what a poppie crop was worth on the black market back in 1993 in college. It was a billion dollars then...at least.

The Afghan farmers don't get much. I think when Bush offered $1500 an acre to stop poppy production they were averaging around $3500 by growing it. But they could grow tons of weed, sell it to our government for $10,000 an acre who in turn could sell High grade Afghan to the US public for $20 or $25 an ounce and everyone would profit and reduce the price of weed to screw up the Mexican drug assholes. There is no "winning" the drug war. But you can play the game so everyone except the criminal profits.
