Where is John McCain, remember he promised to reach across the isle to bring this country out of the economic catastrophy? Remember John McCain promised he knew how to capture Osama Bin Laden? Where is the Republican Party when the American Country needs them? McCain was a delusional Jackass who would say anything to get elected, period. He got his little sexpot MILF for a running mate to be eye candy for all of the rednecks male voters. They want ot go on TV and rant and rave about how the Chosen One hasn't fixed the Country in the past 18 days, a problem they helped create over the past 8 yeas. All they are doing is helping to drag this Country into the next Great Depression, whining and crying about all of the problems in this bill all to prove they know how to solve the problems that are facing this Nation. Why don't the lazy assed fuckers come up with an alternative? It is because they have no backbone or enough smarts between all of the stupid fuckers to come with any workable option. All they can do is piss and moan about the Democrats and all its faults, regardless of the fact they can't come up with anything to counter it.

Why didn't they help their President fix the problems over the last eight years? Oh that's right they were too busy blaming the Democrats for all of the deficit spending and the war that is bankrupting this COuntry while lining their pockets with lobbyist and PAC dollars.

If there was ever a perfect time for the American Citizens to "Go Postal on Congress" it is right know and wipe out the whole lot of them.

U.S. employers eliminated 598,000 jobs in January, the most since the end of 1974, and catapulted the unemployment rate to 7.6 percent. The grim figures were further proof that the U.S. job climate is deteriorating at an alarming clip with no end in sight.

Slider, it's ok. suzyr understands that a little humor doesn't negate her post. As to your reply, I agree we've been getting hosed by republicans. And we've been getting hosed by democrats along with them. I agree that republicans are bad about pointing fingers and constantly singing the praises of a dead president who was the first to take us into the trillion dollar deficit category.

But the screwing is the one thing that does cross the isle. If Obama means what he says he will get at least some of it done. If he just spouted his own version of BS for the office the screwing will continue. I find it hard to believe that such a far left democrat actually wants to do what's right. We shoulda got Ron Paul.

What really bugs me is how so many follow Obama so blindly wound up in his speech of Hope and Change that they cannot see that he is no less of a tool than any other President in recent history. Untill he lives up to his promises that are the only reason he got elected and cuts the puppet strings that Pelosi and Reid have placed upon him I will not trust him or speak his praises, sorry

Also, Bush was pretty much a lame duck for the last year of his administration. But hey, he didn't try to give money to Amtrak or salaries to FBI employees and call it a economic stimulus.

Jobs around here were lost, houses weren't selling, and wages went to crap during the Ronnie/Daddy Bush years. During Willie businesses came back and home sales and building boomed again, but I don't recall my 401K doing well. During GW we got $4 gas, housing is hard to find but expensive, the debt has soared, but until the last year or two my 401K was making a little profit.

I guess I should have been buying houses in the 80's, investing in a couple local companies in the 90's and renting the houses I bought in the 80's now for the beyond stupid amounts they rent for. Kind of a crap shoot under each president as to what we'll get.
