Which brings the real cost of this debacle to approximately $177 million. Not including the cost over runs, of course. If it's anything like the capitol renovation, the total cost will be somewhere in the neighborhood of six hundred million bucks.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Topeka schools have a dropout rate in excess of 50%. Taking it to the state level, since the state is the partner in this crime, the regents universities are trying to figure out where to cut costs in an attempt to avoid raising tuitions yet again.

What a joke.
