Stupid kids

Just heard a trucker on the CB telling about a situation on I-70 one mile east of Victoria at the overpass. A group of young men were throwing rocks and bricks off the overpass onto passing traffic busting windsheilds etc. He was pissed off, big time. Hope they catch the little turds, they coulda got someone killed

I can understand the humor in peeing off an overpass though I wouldn't do it either. But throwing rocks/bricks/cinderblocks/bowling balls, etc., at windshields should in my opinion, rate at least a long mandatory prison term for the one doing it.

That's assault with a deadly weapon at a minimum, quite possibly attempted murder.

But are they sure it was kids? It could just be Raider fans practicing to go to a game in Oakland. No, Suzy, not that Oakland.

I'm not hatin'. Just wondering when to watch for the video on the news. Last year's game turned into UFC, WWE and Showtime Friday Night Fights all rolled into one. Hell, it looked like a G8 Meeting was in town.

The whole overpass drop thing happened here a couple of times, I honestly look a bit closer to those particular overpasses now, when I drive under. It's a scary thought. All of it makes you realize how much you realize trust we put in strangers we encounter on the road.

I remember standing on an overpass when I was a teen with some friends talking about such things. If I recall right someone in our drunken group did take a whizz over the side. But luckily none of us were mentally ill enough to throw solid objects. From my recollection I stayed back a ways because I was so drunk I was afraid I'd fall over the rail.
