It's been scientifically proven that female sperm survive longer than male sperm while looking to "hook up" with the egg. So it depends on what was going on at the time of conception. If you guys were really getting after it, then there's a much greater chance of having a boy. Mostly because the moment of truth happens with maximum penetration and the males have a better chance. That's why first-born babies are more frequently boys. Daddy's getting all he can. Subsequent siblings are more likely to be conceived when the father is finessing it, meaning less penetration and better odds for the female sperm. Of course, all this can be disregarded if dad is less than average in the male endowment department. In that case, he's more likely to sire all girls. Only the two of you know for sure what was happening at the time, so if you can remember, you'll have a good chance at guessing correctly.

| Congrats to you! Think it's probably a boy. Guess that's because all I had was boys, no other good reason. I did read today that a new study out claims that those that have boys may have more severe postpartum depression. Don't know how that's possible but most studies out there make no sense to me. I did get to see the sonagram of our grandkids today. There are two, but don't know what sex yet. Exciting! | |

| Congrats to you. Buff shoots, he scores. Sonograms always make me think Sigourney Weaver should be showing up in the next scene. But aside from that.... They claim men with hairy chests tend to produce more girls, and men with light body hair tend towards boys. That's an old study, no idea if it means anything. | |

| I loved picking out the kid's names. I had a little weird sense of humor though. I picked out Irwin Oren Corwin for son. My hubby didn't go for it. I always wondered why. | |

Alexander was just kinda something we both liked and Ray is after Buff's dad.
