I'm NOT advertising, just curious why so many people go to the corporate store to stand in line and pay higher prices?

Something that covers the phone and screen but leaves the keys open that I don't have to cut every other day?! They may not even make something like that .

Your service is great but your location is kind of a pain , not much parking, not the easiest place to get in and out of . I think that place across the street is easier to get to for most folk. But I've never liked going there for some reason.

If you have a problem with a phone all they want to do is sell you a replacement at Full Retail. They don't give a damn if you want to file an insurance claim, all they want to do is screw you out of a shitload of money. I've always dealt with the Establishment (insert various names here) across the street when doing any kind of upgrades, may be a little inconvient to get into and out of but at least the people there care about saving you some bucks, not just the Corporate Quota's and bottomline.

So do you guys do everything that they do across the street? When the kids needed things for their phones, I tell them to call the one across the street and find out how much it is and then send them to your store to buy it, cause it's always cheaper and you have a bigger selection.

Do you guys carry anything that will prevent my phone from talking to me? It seems like everytime somebody calls me the phone goes off and says open me up and feel my vibrations on your ear.

Nitro was a big help today. Sold my family three phones and gave us great deals. The parking is alittle difficult.I had to wait for the traffic to clear in the north bound lanes to back up

I don't even think we have insurance on any of our phones. lol I think a little advertisement is best for you. Location is important, though when Frank had Enchanted Island, no one cared where they parked, they went!

So what about getting a phone with GPS? Are they good/bad? I'm thinking about getting a new one with GPS and giving the hubby mine. He's finally thinking about trading in his for a newer one (it's only been five years).

GPS is good, but costs extra. It's spot on within 15 ft. or so.

Aw man I was so hoping it would work on billing too. I already get a discount from my job and if I got an additional discount I was hoping Alltel would have to pay me every month!

Not sure who the "he" is you're talking about but I was 10 years old at the time. Granted there's no doubt modern feminists that think I should have been imprisoned for at least 5 life sentences, and probably a few bible bangers would have thought my eyes should have been gouged out with a red hot poker, but in those days it was just called being a kid. And that was pretty tame by todays standard with some 6th graders getting condoms and birth control pills from the school nurse.

I have shopped there, but I think it was other owner/management. The problem I hear is that people don't like the continues change in owner/management and then some still thank its Frank's. The last time I got a phone, I went to barrengers (or however its spelled) because they had a 6800 I could play with first. Somewhere along the way, the Phone Depot spot kind of got a bad name and people seem turned off to it. Plus like they said, its hard to get into. I do know someone at my work went in there a while back during their lunch break and he said only one person was working and there were about 5 people waiting, so he just left went across the street where they (of course) had more people working (they can afford to do that).

As to answer your question, it has to be advertising and more than just the sign saying we have free phones. And I personally don't like the name as it makes it sound cheap and all that that implies.

I still have some condoms around here. I'm still trying to decide what they're used for.

So Nitro, does Phone Depot handle insurance claims or do I have to go to the corporate store?
