While the joke is funny, I might also point out that "witty" jokes about the opposition are also trademarks of the former socialist Texas governor Ann Richards (who castrated Texas) and the democrats golden comrade Al Franken.

I suppose so. But when it's done that well . . .

Most politicians known for their sense of humor are good at it. Ann Richards threw one liners like a pro, and in his own ass clown way so did Franken. Problem is that each of them were telling jokes aimed at amusing one specific segment of the voters, not all Americans.

It reminds me of hearing Obama's wife on the news yesterday refer to herself as an African American first lady. To a certain crowd that may sound good but it was just wrong as hell for her to do that.

So you object to the "lady" part?

Can't say I know that EP. But I do know that "African" has no reason to be used in reference to a U.S. presidents wife when they are commenting on her current status as First Lady. Especially not when she was born and raised in Chicago.
