About .20 the first round and about .40 this last one. But we had 1.5 in the one before those so it's making the weeds in my garden grow nicely.

Wonder if that will be enough for them to allow fireworks this year again?

Yeah I usually do but was hoping heavy tilling would slow them. It did the reverse. Wish I'd foreseen how well they'd be established or I'd have layed down about 3 inches of straw everywhere.

I expect the towns will allow them. The danger is lowest in town anyways because lots of watching eyes and garden hoses are available. Still a maybe in the County. There'd never be a need for a ban if we could require an intelligence test for users. Lots of farmers intentionally disc their ground before the 4th to avoid fires, but jackasses who want to start fires and other assorted idiots always seem to pick bone dry grass, woods, or fields to shoot things into instead of using those nicely prepared plowed areas.

not that I know of, but I was on my way home from Denver during the storms. We got home as it was letting up the rain about 8:45.

Nice rain if you avoided the hail. Didn't your parents teach you it was nice to share? It fizzled when it saw Ellis coming up as usual, but we aren't too badly off at the moment. Wasn't too many years ago the Hoxie area was in severe drought. Everything was dead and brown long before Winter.
