how much rain did we get??

we left to go to KC tues evening,drove through tons of rain,then it cleared up,we got to our hotel and woke up to the same rain we went through and it sounded like it was pouring in our room Sooooooo I never did find out how much we got.around 3 inches I'm guessing

My gauge showed 2.4"

I think I might be able to get a gall that worked at the Peanut house about once a month fifteen years ago. She still has an aversion to clothing, much to her neighbors chagrin.
