I remember years ago a company was found to be filling bottles with ordinary Chicago tap water and calling it spring water. Why does anyone pay for water anyways? In NYC it can be $5 a bottle and the idiots will pay it.

Or coffee, or offshoots thereof. Pretty nutty.

Coffee used to be alot cheaper. Pop was too when we were kids. They are only water with additives but at least pop and coffee can't be found running right out of your kitchen faucet. At work we had an RO system just 10 feet away from a machine with bottled water and a few still bought the damn water at $1.25 a bottle. At least the coffee crowd used the RO water to make theirs. Kinda explains why the country has so many problems.

I make my coffee at home mostly. Gatorade too from a can in Summer. Paying for bottled water short of a dire emergency is just kinda like paying for air. It just ain't right.

Unless you live in Topeka, where the city water tastes like it came straight from the sewer.
