| Here's an interesting story in CJOnline about the lone democratic candidate for Gov, Herbert West. Democratic gubernatorial candidate Herbert West is convinced the state's political establishment has lost touch with the people... government no longer pays attention to common folks. The Kansas Democratic Party isn't supporting West. Party regulators know virtually nothing about him. House Minority Leader Paul Davis, D-Lawrence, said a "quality, credible" Democratic candidate for governor would step forward soon."I think we will have one in the next couple weeks," Davis said. You decide. | |

"I think we will have one in the next couple weeks," Davis said. The dems are pissing in the wind. They have no one. Parkinson has been a loose cannon lately with his tax proposals.

That should read: - Blackie Kuhn wrote:

And the legislature should be meeting in the gym at the Downtown Topeka YMCA. Instead, they spent more on each door in the capitol building remodel than most Kansans spend on an entire house. - CJOnline wrote:

He's right about that. | |

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Herbert West is convinced the state's political establishment has lost touch with the people... government no longer pays attention to common folks. They all say that..."Before" the election. - suzyr wrote:

You decide. Might be a good time to run a libertarian.

According to this morning's news. West has a history of mental illness and homelessness. Probably homeless due to the high taxes in Kansas and driven crazy by paying attention to the actions of the state government.

I heard a report this morning that Massachussetts has at least 116,000 deceased people still registered to vote. You can bet as many as are needed will be out to vote for Coakley today. The Dems have mastered the "get your lazy, dead ass out of that grave and go vote" campaign.

| Back to the subject of Herbert West. He dropped out of the race, even though he was the only one in it, then re-entered, then scheduled a press conference this past Monday to announce his second withdrawal. However, at the conference, he said that he lied about dropping out in order to get the press to come and pay attention to him. If nothing else, this guy is creative. | |
