Hays City Quality Meats

Old news by now but nobody has mentioned that Hays City Quality meats is moving from their present location and relocating to the former Kansas Mobile Glass building 2306 Vine St. That location is presently being remodeled.

I wasn't all that impressed with Hays Quality Meats when I lived in Hays. I preferred Warren's.

We always went to Hays City when we were in Hays. They were always friendly enough to us. But we don't have complaints anywhere else either.

it was a lady whenever I went there-not helpful at all-but she may also just been having a bad day on several occasions when I went there-it happens Very Happy

I think there is an older lady that works there too, possibly during the week. I always see the dark haired, sweet lady that works there on Saturdays. I thought they were married, I have seen them eating at Professors together and other places.

Long before the days of E-coli fears my dad and I used to eat fresh ground raw hamburger with just some salt. Hate the spiced up crap.

Warrens is my pick, I tried hays city meats a few times and the meat just didn't taste right. and there are times I don't buy from either but just when a friend just buttured a cow and gives me a cooler full of meat mmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmm range feed beef is the best. but still give my meat business

Dr. Paul Jones bought the place and Harry is going to manage it. I guess Dr. Jones has a lot of cattle that are raised hormone free? But that is where the beef is going to come from... or so I've heard at least.
