| Boogers On a Stick 8 ounce Jar cheez whiz Green food coloring 25 To 30 pretzel sticks Melt the cheeze whiz in the microwave or on top of the stove, according to directions on the jar. Allow the cheese to cool slightly in the jar. Using a long handled spoon, carefully stir about three drops of green food coloring into the warm cheese, using just enough to turn the cheese a delicate snot green. To form boogers: Dip and twist the tip of each pretzel stick into the cheese, lift out, wait twenty seconds, then dip again. When cheese lumps reach an appealingly boogerish size, set pretzels, booger down, onto a sheet of waxed paper. Allow finished boogers on a stick to cool at room temperature for ten minutes or until cheese is firm. Gently pull boogers off waxed paper and arrange on a serving platter. Serves 5 to 6 booger buddies. Sicko Serving Suggestion: Place a bowl of chunky red salsa in the center of the platter so that guests can turn plain buggers into bloody ones. MMMMMmmmmmmm | |

| Here is another one I like. Crudités with Vomit Vinaigrette Cherry tomatoes Carrots -- peeled Zucchini Celery stalks Radishes Mushroom caps 2 c Cottage cheese 1 Onion soup mix 1/4 c Milk Yellow food coloring Rinse the vegetables in warm water, except the mushroom caps. Wipe those gently with a damp paper towel. Then slice the carrots, zucchini and celery into thin sticks. The cherry tomatoes can be served whole, but you may want to remove any green stems. The radishes and mushrooms can be halved or served whole. If you are not serving right away, put the vegetables in a plastic bag and store them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh and crispy. In a small bowl, mix the cottage cheese, onion soup mix and milk. Stir in some food coloring until you get the desired yellowish color. Do not overmix! Lumpy is more realistic! Arrange your vegetables on a platter surrounding the Vomit Vinaigrette. Vomit Vinaigrette tastes great in sandwiches, too! Try splattering some into pita pockets! MMMMmmmmmm | |

| Not necessarly, if you only have two people cooking a turkey is kind of a waste. Not everybody has family in their town as well, buffets are simply a necessary evil. | |

| Ya know slider, if the early settlers only had two for dinner they didn't avoid shooting a turkey, they saved the leftovers and used it all. If you are alone and open a pack of hotdogs, brats, or whatever do you throw away the ones you didn't use at that moment?
For a single, or a couple, a turkey or large ham can be great. I can handle turkey for 3 or 4 days before I get sick of it. A good sized high quality ham (that I won't get tired of quick) means I don't have to figure out what's for lunch for a couple weeks.
Hey wilky, Wallyworld has leftover Halloween pumpkins cheap right now. My sister has made pies, cakes, breads, and even cookies out of some I grew. Just cut one in half and lay the cut side down on a cookie sheet in the oven till done and scoop it out of the shell so to speak. The net has lots of recipes.

Ratz, for an seemingly intelligent man you can sure some masterful "illogical leaps of faith" interpreting someone's comments. My point was some don't have the need or the want to cook a large turkey or ham and have leftovers they can't eat. Some can't afford to go out and buy all the stuff to cook that traditional Thanksgiving Day meal as well. Some just don't want family trampling through their houses, some just like it for the convience of not having to go through all of the preparation and clean up.
Also, it was making the point there are some that don't have family at all around. They along with travelers, people stuck in town because of work or those who have loved ones in a Hospital have a place to go.
Oh and Ratz, the settlers didn't have a choice they had to shoot and eat whatever they could find. It's not like they could hook up the ol' Conestoga and just rush down to Dillon's or WalMart for their supplies ... MORON!

There ain't nothin' better than a big ol' slice of turkey, fresh from the oven. Since my niece and I are both diabetic, and there's going to be lots of food diabetics aren't supposed to eat, I'm going to make a cherry dump cake. It's really good and sugar-free. That way, she can have dessert and not feel left out.

Try injecting your turkey with chicken broth and butter and don't stuff it. cook your stuffing in a seperate dish.. If you don't use it to stuff the turkey, would it still be stuffing? In that case,it would be called dressing..
