Boogers On a Stick Thanksgiving Specialties??? 555861

8 ounce Jar cheez whiz
Green food coloring
25 To 30 pretzel sticks

Melt the cheeze whiz in the microwave or on top of the stove, according to directions on the jar. Allow the cheese to cool slightly in the jar. Using a long handled spoon, carefully stir about three drops of green food coloring into the warm cheese, using just enough to turn the cheese a delicate snot green.

To form boogers: Dip and twist the tip of each pretzel stick into the cheese, lift out, wait twenty seconds, then dip again. When cheese lumps reach an appealingly boogerish size, set pretzels, booger down, onto a sheet of waxed paper. Allow finished boogers on a stick to cool at room temperature for ten minutes or until cheese is firm. Gently pull boogers off waxed paper and arrange on a serving platter. Serves 5 to 6 booger buddies.

Sicko Serving Suggestion: Place a bowl of chunky red salsa in the center of the platter so that guests can turn plain buggers into bloody ones. MMMMMmmmmmmm Thanksgiving Specialties??? 847999

Here is another one I like. Thanksgiving Specialties??? 128512

Crudités with Vomit Vinaigrette

Cherry tomatoes
Carrots -- peeled
Zucchini
Celery stalks
Radishes
Mushroom caps
2 c Cottage cheese
1 Onion soup mix
1/4 c Milk
Yellow food coloring

Rinse the vegetables in warm water, except the mushroom caps. Wipe those gently with a damp paper towel. Then slice the carrots, zucchini and celery into thin sticks. The cherry tomatoes can be served whole, but you may want to remove any green stems. The radishes and mushrooms can be halved or served whole. If you are not serving right away, put the vegetables in a plastic bag and store them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh and crispy. In a small bowl, mix the cottage cheese, onion soup mix and milk. Stir in some food coloring until you get the desired yellowish color. Do not overmix! Lumpy is more realistic! Arrange your vegetables on a platter surrounding the Vomit Vinaigrette. Vomit Vinaigrette tastes great in sandwiches, too! Try splattering some into pita pockets! MMMMmmmmmm

Not necessarly, if you only have two people cooking a turkey is kind of a waste. Not everybody has family in their town as well, buffets are simply a necessary evil.

Ya know slider, if the early settlers only had two for dinner they didn't avoid shooting a turkey, they saved the leftovers and used it all. If you are alone and open a pack of hotdogs, brats, or whatever do you throw away the ones you didn't use at that moment?

For a single, or a couple, a turkey or large ham can be great. I can handle turkey for 3 or 4 days before I get sick of it. A good sized high quality ham (that I won't get tired of quick) means I don't have to figure out what's for lunch for a couple weeks.

Hey wilky, Wallyworld has leftover Halloween pumpkins cheap right now. My sister has made pies, cakes, breads, and even cookies out of some I grew. Just cut one in half and lay the cut side down on a cookie sheet in the oven till done and scoop it out of the shell so to speak. The net has lots of recipes.

Ratz, for an seemingly intelligent man you can sure some masterful "illogical leaps of faith" interpreting someone's comments. My point was some don't have the need or the want to cook a large turkey or ham and have leftovers they can't eat. Some can't afford to go out and buy all the stuff to cook that traditional Thanksgiving Day meal as well. Some just don't want family trampling through their houses, some just like it for the convience of not having to go through all of the preparation and clean up.

Also, it was making the point there are some that don't have family at all around. They along with travelers, people stuck in town because of work or those who have loved ones in a Hospital have a place to go.

Oh and Ratz, the settlers didn't have a choice they had to shoot and eat whatever they could find. It's not like they could hook up the ol' Conestoga and just rush down to Dillon's or WalMart for their supplies ... MORON!

Once again another gigantic illogical leap, I never said I was going to use a Restaurant Buffet for this Thanksgiving as a substitute for cooking a meal. Show me where I ever said that I was and don't even think taking a couple of words or a partial line out of context to try and twist it to fit your accusation either!

I simply just made the comment that many people choose that option, plain and sinple. Some use the Community Meal as their Holiday meal, more power to them.

You guys assume way too much from reading between the lines in a post.

Why don't you go there and Volunteer since you feel so strongly on inlisting me to do so.

If you connect worm medicine and enemas with sex we really don't want to hear the details of it. Shocked

Rest assured that suggesting you needed de-wormed and an enema had nothing to do with sex. Old timers just usually figured that poorly behaved kids must be full of something that needed flushed out. Smile

Then why not go there? Or better yet, volunteer to help there and then eat.

The world has never encountered a man in more of a dire need of a blowjob than you, slider.

OK Im sorry, I dont care who you are or where you're come from THAT THERE WAS FUNNY!!!!

Ratz .. you are the one suggesting shoving tubes up my wazoo to pump it full of fluids.

That is just about a gay as YOU can get bucky!! So I guess if the shoe fits!

No, that's another illusion you've conjured up. I did not say I wanted it done to me. I did not say I wanted to do it to you, or that I even wanted to watch it happen. I simply stated you're full of shit.

But don't worry because I doubt it'll happen to you. Even a stout nurse would have trouble getting the enema tube past your head.

I like the turducken idea but some of my snooty family will just barely touch turkey white meat. One of my nephews worked in a BBQ place in Wichita once and brought some stuff up one year. It was nice.

There ain't nothin' better than a big ol' slice of turkey, fresh from the oven.

Since my niece and I are both diabetic, and there's going to be lots of food diabetics aren't supposed to eat, I'm going to make a cherry dump cake. It's really good and sugar-free. That way, she can have dessert and not feel left out.

Turkey is ok, but the white meat tends to be dry and bland for my tastes. My halfassed vegetarian relatives like it though. Still think a turducken would really be good.

We tried a yummy new recipe last night, chicken pot pie empanadas. Could easily be made with turkey left overs. I'll get the recipe up later!

Try injecting your turkey with chicken broth and butter and don't stuff it. cook your stuffing in a seperate dish..

If you don't use it to stuff the turkey, would it still be stuffing?

In that case,it would be called dressing..

Thousands of elderly Israelis almost never get
enough to eat. You can provide nutritious meals at
one of The Fellowship’s soup kitchens in Jerusalem
and throughout Israel. All of our soup kitchens are
known for their clean, warm atmosphere, friendly
staff and delicious food. You’ll keep a lifeline of
hope open for those who desperately need it.

10 meals for an elderly Israeli
