Chapman makeover airs Sunday

A video crew, program star Ty Pennington and designers spent a week in Chapman in November building the Tutwilers a new home and working on several other projects. Along with the Tutwiler home, "Extreme Makeover" built and furnished a new community center and storm shelter. Sunday ABC will broadcast "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

I got the dvr set already! I think it should be a good one!

I cant wait to see it!!!!

It was good

That was awesome what they did for those people in Chapman. I was really touched with planting Edna a new garden and you could tell she was really touched. The one question I had was that safe house they built doesn't look all that big. I don't think you could fit 1300 people in that.

I thought the same thing,lol.

It was a good show untill they put that terrible burdon on the family. At least the could have left them a trust fund to pay for the necessary repairs that will be required in the near future. Very and dis-heartening...

I forgot about it and my mom called me and told me to watch it. I just kind of listened while I was doing paperwork (DAMN GETTING READY FOR TAXES!!!), missed seeing the shelter, but heard about it. Had to stop and get a few kleenex several times though. I loved how the Tutwilers were so much in love! She saved every letter she got from him just in case it was the last one. Then he wrote her a letter to have at the house waiting when they got back from the Bahamas!

I forgot to watch it and I am sad. But if I did watch it I would probably still me crying....

The got married at the court house originally, so Ty and crew arranged to have them remarried in the Bahamas. It was awesome!

I also think it sucks if they put so much $ back into the house that they might not be able to pay for it.

I watched another one on Saturday with a guy and his three daughters, he lost his wife (she died in their bed) and they came in and tore down the house and built a brand new one. The girls were so adorable. I cried and cried over that one! They put three windows upstairs to represent the three daughters and in the attic, they put a stained glass window of an angel with a light behind to represent the mother.

And that is why I can't watch this show very often....
