As Seen on TV Bowl

With the plethora of bowl games this week, including the San Diego Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl and the Papajohns.com Bowl, it's time to suggest a new bowl game - the As Seen On TV Bowl, carried exclusively on QVC with play-by-play man Billy Mays, color commentator Vince and sideline reporter Anthony. The referees could have Gophers to pick the ball out of the piles and Sham-Wows to wipe off the ball if it's muddy. The players on the bench would wear Snuggies instead of jackets. They can use Laser Levels to mark the first down yardage. The quarterbacks would have Listen-Ups instead of head sets in their helmets. At the end of the game, the chairman emeritus of the As Seen On TV Bowl, Ron Popeil, could present the trophy. Then Billy Mays breaks in with, "But wait, that's not all! As the winners of this years As Seen On TV Bowl, you get a second trophy for free! Just pay separate shipping and handling."
