My son keeps harping on me to dump IE and install FF. I just don't like the look of it.

Never mind. I found it.

I hated firefox's look too....but then i found out i can do plug ins and right now my firefox is Christmasy:)----my refresh button is a reindeer ,stop is a santa hat ,and home is a gingerbread house and so on.....very cute!

I suggest everybody try Opera, it's a great browser and I've been using it for years... much preferred to even the almighty Firefox.

I tried the Opera browser some years back. Seemed to work quite well, but I chose Firefox. Firefox isn't almighty, they earned their success. IE is almighty, or at least they try to be. IE7 sucks in my less than humble opinion.

Opera is time tested. Heard alot of good comments on it.

it will ask you if you want to import the favorites from IE
.Then to access them click on bookmarks in the toolbar

click on bookmarks at the top of the window

Ok I found some of them there but they are not all there. What do I do now please and thank you!!!

do you have them in folders or just all in a list

Firefox should prompt you to offer to import your bookmarks from IE upon installation.

Is there a limit on how many you have cause it only imported about half my list.

Has anyone tried Google's Chrome?

I am having a hell of a time getting pages to load on firefox. Guess I'm gonna try "Chrome" or "Opera"

I finally got all my favorites pages switched over. ( I had to manually do some of them still am not sure why) So far I really like firefox, but let me know what you think of the others if you try them!

Chrome is cool so far. Loads pretty quick, but haven't played with it much yet.

Just found out it has a built in spell-checker.

I haven't had problem with pages loading, but my Internet connection has been slow all day.

I tried opera, so far so good. I have been having internet issues also - are you an eaglecom customer scifi?

Nope, Nex-tech. Seems to be doing a lot better now.

I use Opera on my phone. Works well.
