| Mr. Mohammed and the others presented their decision almost as a dare to the American government. When Judge Henley raised questions about the procedure for imposing the death penalty after a guilty plea, some of the detainees immediately suggested they might change their minds if they could not be assured they would be executed. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/09/us/09gitmo.html?_r=1&hp | |

And so it starts.Another campaign promise down the drain. Are there any promises left, or did he weasel out of them all? |

| Brownback agrees.
He said Monday that "for good reasons, federal law prohibits the co-mingling of military prisoners with a detainee population. Additionally, transferring detainees to Fort Leavenworth would disrupt the fort's primary mission as the intellectual center of the Army."
Article is in the local paper. That he thinks Kansas is the intellectual center of anything is kinda frightening. Yikes!

All media = Obama or else you get kicked off the bus, and you dont get to play. All presidents play that game. Nobody, not even the President "has" to talk to the press. We want them to, we sure like it when they do, but if they don't want to they don't have to. And if the President doesn't happen to pick the talking (pin)head we worship nightly it means nothing. And if our chosen talking (pin)head makes himself an annoyance, or displays outright bias he should expect to be kicked off. That's how it works. We could change how it works, but were white and inventive. Show us a problem and we'll find a way to stall it around until we can figure out the next patch.

| In this case they were tossed off for not showing the proper bias. | |

All media = Obama or else you get kicked off the bus, and you dont get to play. So anything the media says in speculation is fact. That's lovely. Amazing how many "facts" directly contradict each other.
