WM thefts? Truth or rumor?

Heard from someone that there were a whole bunch of people fired from WalMart for stealing things. Electronics, high dollar stuff. I didn't see anything in the paper about it yet, but I don't get the paper every day. Has anyone heard if this is true?

I too also heard this from two seperate people who don't even know each other sometimes around here that's hard to say

Years ago when my dad worked night security at The Mall one of the local trash haulers told him that he'd on occassion find new in the box radios and such in the trash. Employees would put it there and come back for it after hours.

That's how it worked when I was in retail (a lifetime ago). I was in management, and found things in the dumpsters many times, thoughout the years. Only once did I catch an employee in the act. The store owner declined to press charges, just fired him.

Yeah its true, here a few weeks ago there were a few employees that had a nice theft ring going on. I guess it had been ongoing for quite sometime and finally when there was enough proof they were fired. I'm not for sure how many were involved but it was a few.

what were the stealing DX?

From what I heard it was Ipod's and DVD's.

it was 8 or 10 people. i can't remember for sure.
