Old cartoons got away with alot.

I was watching the cartoon channel late last night and The Flinstones came on. The show was about a masquerade party and at one point Fred and Barney were looking at costumes. To make a long story short, at one point Barney is looking at a costume head and Fred makes a comment something like "Just what you need Barney, another head." And then Barney replies "Gee Fred, then I'd have three of em."

Only in the town of bedrock,would you find a three headed man...

Mwaaahahahaha!

At least you would have a choice of which head you wanted, and guaranteed to be rock hard...

Another thing I always wondered about is in Scooby Doo if Velma or Daphne were screamers. I always pictured Velma as a tease and Daphne to give it up easily.

Yeah, me too. We must be old suzy. There's quite a few old cartoons on YouTube that ain't PC. Surprised nobodys gotten them taken off. I'm disappointed though that I can't find any SNL skits I want to see again on there.

I miss the old shows. TV Land is starting to suck. Too many 80's 90's shows on it now. And nobody has the great cartoons except YouTube.

Try Network TV on a Sat. Morning? Not even any cartoons on.

Try Boomerang, they have all of the old cartoons.

What's worse is that lots of modern cartoons are full of PC brainwashing. Speaking of brainwashing, this is a great parody of that old brainwashing claymation show that made me so ill when I was a kid. This is hilarious if you remember that old show.

Did you ever notice that they were smoking their van up quite offten!!! I figured they were pot heads,that's why they had the munchies too!

They were a band of musicians running around in a hippy van from 1969 to the mid 70's Of course they were stoned. And it might also explain why they could talk to a dog.

And here's one with one of the most hilarious scenes of any cartoon ever. Pay close attention about 6 minutes 55 seconds into it and listen to what the dog says right after the explosives go off. This used to be on Saturday morning when I was a kid.
