I have all my fixins for potato salad and cucumber/tomato/onion salad. Gonna get it goin tomorrow.

oh tis very very easy....at least my version is - slice cucumbers - cut up tomatos & onions - and pour your favorite zesty italian dressing to completely cover it. Let it sit at least 12 hrs to get really cold.

Yummy!!! I'll have to try this. I'm sure I'll love it! My grandma used to make a cucumber/tomato salad that had mayo and I think vinegar in it. It was really yummy but the recipe went to heaven with her. Anyone got a good one like that?

I have a cucumber and onion recipe. Cut up cucumbers and onions, then mix mayo, some sugar and a touch of vinegar. It's delicious. You have to let it set quite a few hours too, to get the right consistency.

I also make spaghetti salad. Cook the spaghetti, drain, cut up cucumbers, tomatoes and green peppers and mix it all with a bottle of ranch dressing. They are pretty good!

Still not sure what I might bring. ;-)

My cucumber/onion recipe is just the veggies in enough vinegar to cover them, plus 1/4 c. sugar. Also, your spaghetti salad recipe is delish! I've also had it with zesty italian dressing instead of the ranch. That's very tasty, too, and you don't have to worry about it going bad during a picnic, because there's no cream in the dressing.

I'll take a refrigerator to the park for the salads.

I will have a ice chest for mine, good thinking Justoo!
