Walking and beer

A recent study found the average American walks about 900 miles per year.

Another study found Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of beer a year.

That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon.

Kind of makes you proud to be an American

I once knew a guy that took acid and speed. He was one of the first electric hybrid people.

Got about 300 miles on one charge up.

I either need to walk more or drink less beer. I think my MPG is not quite what it should be.

I got to thinking about this thread earlier today. Someone on TV was saying something about the price per gallon of milk, and the price per gallon of gas, made me wonder how we do with the milk miles per gallon comparison when it comes to walking. Its random I know... What can I say? I'm pretty random!

well this is random, but id like to be walking with a beer at the gathering about right now!!!

I get about 2.5 miles out of an 8 oz. glass of milk. A gallon has 128 ounces. That is 16 glasses, 8 oz. each. 16 glasses at 2.5 miles each equals about 40 miles to a gallon of milk.

I can get about 60 miles to a gallon of beer, rolling, downhill.

I can live with out the beer. But the hubby did go fill a growler of something new at the Brewery tonight and I really wanted to taste it, but I didn't.
