we watched our tivo'd episode of Warehouse 13.

I watched last night's season premiere of Hell's Kitchen.

Being an independant with mostly libertarian beliefs I won't criticize until I know what he said, though it doesn't much matter because whoever has the most power will tell me what I get and my opinion is void.

But it is required that the conservative republican and liberal democrat always criticize each other without ever knowing what the other side says because what they say isn't what counts, the political patch they wear is all that's important.

It's on again right now. It's boring. He's not saying anything new. It's the same lies that the Democrat leadership has been spouting since they started pushing for this bill. My question for him would have been this:

"If most of the provisions in this bill don't take effect until 2013, why are you insisting that it be passed in the next two weeks, before anyone has a chance to read and analyze the contents of this 1000 page bill? Are you scared that after people understand the details of this bill, it won't have a snowball's chance in hell to pass?"

That's why democrats pushed like a bitch for the domestic terrorism bill after OKC bombing and Bush pushed for the expanded government powers after 9/11. They want everyone to ride their wave of BS and never want anyone to know what they're really up to.

He just gave a factually incorrect explanation of the Gates arrest in Cambridge and said that the police "acted stupidly." Now he's saying that it was racial profiling. Yet he didn't bother to answer the question about race relations.

0bama's press conference was typical summer fare... Reruns.

He is in a big rush to pass it NOW. Most of the bill won't take effect until 2013.

Most of the stimulus was scheduled for when the economy was already (presumed) turned around. We've only spent around 10-12%.

Most of the health bill doesn't take effect until after he is (presumed) re-elected.
