I use tax act also. It was simple, easy, and fun.

TaxAct, they are fast as well. Already got my state refund back and should have the federal next week.

With TaxAct, can you file schedule C (business use of home)? I didn't see it listed online.

I pay H and R block way to much $$.

Yes according to the taxact software on my pc.

I file tacks by size.

I did too for like 4 years in a row. I always went to them so I could get my refund faster ( which usually cost me about 400 bux when it was all said and done) but you can usually get it in a week if you do them yourself online.

Just try TaxAct or TurboTax. The're free and you will be surprised at how accurate and easy they are. I know TaxAct can do everything involved with form 1040.

Just think about this: If we had the Fair Tax, we wouldn't have to worry about filing. April 15th would be just another day.

The fair tax would hurt the economy.

Just think about all of the CPA's and such that would be out of business.

Just think that prior to WWII i think it was there was no income tax

At the end of every year, I wished that I would have kept up on my records each month. Every January, I freak out because I didn't do it...again...

How do you list your business on your 1040?

Do you Itemize Dilductions?

Just like any other home business, except it's in the category of novelties.

I have to figure out demo items, broken items, postage, paper products, sold items, inventory, free items to customers, etc. etc. The stack of paper work just for sold items is about 5 inches tall.

I didn't take any trips this year either, so I really got to work on my dilductions!!!

If some are hybrids, that qualifies her for another dilduction and another if the are EnergyStar rated.

Is SG the only board member that can get dilductions?
