Hays Main Street

Has anyone else noticed how the brick is settling in the street in downtown Main Street You can see straight lines where the brick has settled . I don't know if it was due to a poor job of preparing the surface before the brick was laid or just natural causes but drive the street and take the time to look .

I know fort is screwed up because of the weird lanes they got marked out.

No, the brick is actually sinking in spots.

yeah, I've seen them in Pratt with a City Crew that pulls up the brick, level the bed out, and relay and tar the brick in place. Usually summer time work. More taxpayer money spent replacing good with bad.

They should have poored concrete and then laid the brick on top of the concrete, won't settle and will keep for years and years till infinity and beyond.

They dug trenches on main for pipes or whatever before the new street went down. No surprise if those areas are settling.
