does anyone know anyone that works on old turntables

There used to be a music store on W 9th. That guy used to be able to get stereo needles and such. If anyone recalls his name he might know who works on turntables. If all else fails, try an ebay search for the turntable you need.

How old, and what is the malfunction?

pretty old maybe mid 60's sometimes the 33 rpm does not play at full speed, not sure if the belt is slipping or what, it seems to do alright on the three other speeds.

I have old 70's turntables of various quality, but a new needle might be in order on one of them.

I know the house of sight and sound in salina may still carry needles, not sure if they do any repair work though.......too far to drive to find out.
