gorham fireworks

Does anyone know what time Gorham shuts down their fireworks stand at night?

I "think" about 10:00.

Oh, thanks, I thought it was maybe around 7-8 and we'd be too late!

I'm pretty sure it's at least 9:00 or later because I think I was there once just as it was getting dark.

But remember in Russell County we can have fun great fireworks. I Ellis you can only get sucky boring fireworks.

Ellis County can have what Russell County does. Only the city of Hays limits them beyond state laws.

I am so close to the city limits border, I hope we won't have any problems..

I heard on the news yesterday that we can have unlimited fireworks until midnight on the 4th, each night before that it's until 10:00.

Last year I saw aerial stuff shot all over Hays. Not sure how strict they are about things. NB how far from the city limits are you?

there is a field about 40 yards from my house and I dont think that is in the city limits. I am on the absolute edge.

You're probably safe in the field NB. For those who want to know, the Gorham fireworks will be open till at least 10:00 on the 3rd, and maybe only till 7:00 or 8:00 on the 4th if that late.

Im gonna shoot em off in my driveway. I had no problems last year - they are more concerned with the people that are shooting them off in the middle of town I'm sure.

It's funny. A lady cracker can send a dog into a shaking fit of terror, but a heavy mortar can shake the ground and set off car alarms and my cats just raise their head with that "Who the f**k disturbed my nap" look on their face.
