Hays Neighbors is having an auction at Coffeerules on Sunday April 6. 11:30 - 2:00. You can hire college students for a variety of tasks.

Although this was not on the original list of probabilities, we have decided to allow potential bidders to discuss the willingness of participants to do various tasks. Even less stressful tasks.
Most of them will be available in four hour blocks, however it is believed that a couple of two hour blocks may be available.

What kind of things are we biding on? What services are they offering? Mowing, painting????

Trimming trees? Resetting landscape railroad ties?

Both of those and more. You supply the tools and/or equipment.
If you don't own the tools, you may be able to borrow them.

For example, I own a handful of tools that would be real handy for tree trimming if someone had that project slated.

Plan to attend our Hays Neighbors Spring Handyman Auction Sunday, April 6, 11:30-2:00. Coffee Rules is contributing their lounge area for the silent work auction, eating lunch, visiting, and viewing a continuous informative slide show. Another neighbor Neighbars Bar & Grill will be serving a deli style lunch for only $5.00.
Members of Alpha Gamma Rho, FHSU agricultural honorary, is contributing approximately 45 work hours to be auctioned to the Hays community as a social service activity

Members of Alpha Gamma Rho, a FHSU agricultural honorary, will be donating work hours to be auctioned off to the Hays community

Format: a silent auction with numbers to be given out if you are interested in bidding for some hours of labor

"Good Neighbor" businesses Coffee Rules and Neighbars Bar & Grill are making lunch, drinks, and space available

Date: Sunday, April 6, 2008
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Place: Coffee Rules Lounge at 1011 Elm

A deli-style lunch provided by Neighbars Bar & Grill will be available for $5
Coffees, tea, sodas, beer will be available from the Coffee Rules menu
