| Bighead teaches his wiener dog to hate. Thor really hated me the first time he met me, no doubt because I'm a veteran. |

| Will you teach children that there is no hope in AMERICA. THAT IS HOW IT'S SPELLED. That regardless of what others gave is insignificant? To that you are right, because at some time in your life that you fucked up and chose to blame those who have power to arrest youInstead of blaming yourself for your own actions. | |

| Please refrain from personal insults, it's one thing to get into a heated discusion, it is another to insult someone. | |

| Thanks for defending this civilian, Romad.
See, Nitro is a 'special' case around here- one that I genuinely have a hard time dealing with.
A complete and appropriate reply to his 'questions' would require picking apart half a dozen false premises... THEN I'd have to assume some basic syntax corrections just so I'd have something coherent to reply to. It just isn't worth my time.
But I'm sure ya'll are all anxious for an update on the condition of my bowels. I can assure everyone that I'm healthy and happy this morning. A diesel or two will be better off for it.

| excerpt: "Thanks for telling me it was a good day until I briefed you. [Redacted name]—You are only interested in your career and provide no support to your staff—no msn [mission] support and you don’t care. I cannot support a msn that leads to corruption, human right abuses and liars. I am sullied—no more. I didn’t volunteer to support corrupt, money grubbing contractors, nor work for commanders only interested in themselves. I came to serve honorably and feel dishonored. I trust no Iraqi. I cannot live this way. All my love to my family, my wife and my precious children. I love you and trust you only. Death before being dishonored any more. Trust is essential—I don’t know who trust anymore. [sic] Why serve when you cannot accomplish the mission, when you no longer believe in the cause, when your every effort and breath to succeed meets with lies, lack of support, and selfishness? No more. Reevaluate yourselves, cdrs [commanders]. You are not what you think you are and I know it. COL Ted Westhusing Life needs trust. Trust is no more for me here in Iraq. It appears that shortly after writing the note, at about 1 p.m. Baghdad time, Westhusing took the 9 mm Beretta automatic pistol he’d been issued at Fort Benning five months earlier, placed it behind his left ear, and pulled the trigger." http://www.texasobserver.org/article.php?aid=2440wonder if you coulda heard that pin dropping.... | |

What a coward he was. I doubt seriously if you could hear a pin drop over the roar of a 9mm pistol shot. Instead of standing up for his beliefs, identifying the corruption, striving to make right what he felt was wrong, he takes the easy way out and shoots himself. "sniff" His family must be so proud" Now, let's celebrate a true hero: *McGINNIS, ROSS A. Rank and Organization: Private First Class, United States Army For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty: Private First Class Ross A. McGinnis distinguished himself by acts of gallantry and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty while serving as an M2 .50-caliber Machine Gunner, 1st Platoon, C Company, 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, in connection with combat operations against an armed enemy in Adhamiyah, Northeast Baghdad, Iraq, on 4 December 2006. That afternoon his platoon was conducting combat control operations in an effort to reduce and control sectarian violence in the area. While Private McGinnis was manning the M2 .50-caliber Machine Gun, a fragmentation grenade thrown by an insurgent fell through the gunner's hatch into the vehicle. Reacting quickly, he yelled "grenade," allowing all four members of his crew to prepare for the grenade's blast. Then, rather than leaping from the gunner's hatch to safety, Private McGinnis made the courageous decision to protect his crew. In a selfless act of bravery, in which he was mortally wounded, Private McGinnis covered the live grenade, pinning it between his body and the vehicle and absorbing most of the explosion. Private McGinnis' gallant action directly saved four men from certain serious injury or death. Private First Class McGinnis' extraordinary heroism and selflessness at the cost of his own life, above and beyond the call of duty, are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the United States Army. Go ask the four Marines he saved if they could hear a pin drop..........

| Thank God that we have people who are strong enough and brave enough to serve in our armed forces during these dangerous times. We get up in the morning and go to our jobs-pissing and moaning about the trivial crap that we all complain about on a given day--and they get up in the morning and face people who desperately want to kill them, along with everyone in this country that supports them. It has been several years since the Towers fell, the Pentagon burned, and a plane full of innocent people died in a pasture in Pennsylvania while trying to stop a bunch of Arab terrorists from attacking another target in New York or D.C. IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN, BUT NEXT TIME WILL BE WORSE! The least we can do is give these brave soldiers, sailors and airmen our respect and support. If you see a serviceman or woman anywhere, shake their hand and say "Thank-you. It will mean a lot to them and it's a small gesture on your part. They are doing the heavy lifting while we are enjoying the benefits. ---"they stand on a wall and say nothing is going to hurt you tonite; not on my watch."---From A Few Good Men | |
