Apparent Scam

Just wanted to remind you to be careful what you click on when your Email comes up.
I had an email today from the IRS saying that direct deposit for my stimulus check is the quickest way to go (and that I was going to get 600 more than what hubby and I got combined). I knew immediately it was a scam. It wanted me to click onto another website and enter my information to sign up for the direct deposit. I'm guessing that whoever created the email would rather make a direct withdrawl from my account. It looks official, but I'm certain its a scam- I've already recieived my stimulus money!
The way (and the speed at which) you recieve your stimulus money is dependent on how you filed your taxes.

No I've already deleted the email. Sorry.

My son got one of these as well/ I told him that the IRS never, ever contacts anyone via email.

The fact that I already had recieved my money is what tipped me off.
