Stupid commercials

Anyone see the "Evista" commercial? It starts out saying "If you are past menopause and treating osteoporosis." Then later it says "You should not take EVISTA if you are nursing, pregnant, or may become pregnant, as it may harm your baby."

Ok girls, tell me how you can be post-menopausal and planning to become pregnant.

oh dont you know ratz!!!! us girls can do whatever we want, one day we can be PG and the next day we can be going through menopause, plain and simple!

The DVR caught the first 20-30 minutes, so we're running behind. Only watched that commercial by accident.
Hopefully there is a perfectly logical explanation for having babies and being post menopausal at the same time.

I saw the comercial earlier. The side effects seemed to outweigh any cure. the only thing left out was rectal bleeding.

No kiddin. And they talk about the dangers of street drugs.

Most of the time it seems like the side effects from the medicine is the same or worse as the actual symptoms.

In thec 1800's homeopathic was very popular. Alot of homeopathic supposedly cured by giving you things to mimic the same symptoms as your illness.

I like homeopathic remedies myself. I'm not much into pills and medicines. I haven't seen this particular commercial, though most of the commercials say something like, "may cause this or that symptoms." I think it's more of a disclaimer because it's happened to someone. The same way hair dryers have tags on them that say do not use while in the bathtub.

For me, it wasn't the side effects that necesarily caught me off gaurd with this commerical, it was the menopause comment at the begining followed by the if you are pregnant/ could become pregnant thing.

Yeah dz that was the point. All drug commercials tell side effects, but this one just makes you think

I am annoyed by the enzyte man and his hard on exciting all the women he walks by in the middle of the day when my kiddos are watching,those commercials are discusting for kids-me,I don't mind it

I think the success of the Enzyte commercials must have influenced the decision to make the "Viva Viagra" commercials. Maybe they should make a Cialis commercial and use a parody of "White Rabbit":
