Sounds like they are going to demolish Kemper Arena, going to put up an agricultural type indoor arena. Where there can be indoor barrel racing and such.

It sits not being used for the most part. So why not? Most concerts and sporting events are now at the Sprint Center. Even the MIAA basketball tournament and the Big 12 women's basketball tournament use Municipal Auditorium instead of Kemper.
