Typical government waste of money. And remember, they also subsidize tobacco farmers.

I smoked for a lot of years.The cost was enough to make me stop.Not to mention the smell,now they make me want to vomit whenever I smell one.

I see a new wave in designer cigarette cases on the horizon.

LOL, yeah, no doubt. For young smokers and their peers, I think the death labels will be a rebellious, badge of honor. They will love it.

Heres the thing, they come out with all this shit aimed at stopping smokers, YET they tax the hell out of smokers to pay for all their programs. WTF? If we all quit whos going to pay for your programs?

Secondly, whenever I see something like this, LITERALLY the only thing I think is "Yeah, yeah, BLAH< BLAH BLAH."

I think they should tax known gang members. Alot of smokers in hospitals have insurance. How many gangbangers with gunshots and knife wounds do you suppose the taxpayer pays for? Probably all of them.

A smoker who worked all his life paying not only income taxes but also extra taxes on his habit gets ridiculed and demonized while some street punk who sold crack to kids and never had a real job gets paralyzed in a gang conflict and gets a free ride on the taxpayer for the rest of his worthless existence.
