Does anyone know about the accident out on I-70 this morning right near the North end of the 183 by-pass? I knwo there was a fatality but can't find any info on it, was hoping it wasnt someone I knew. Sad

check out the KHP crash logs. It should be there if the KHP investigated the accident Very Happy

It shows it was a John Pfannenstiel... didn't know him but my heart and prayers go out to the family.

On a side note did something happen at the airport tonight.. some girl had a post on facebook about all available emts needed to respond.?

Plane came in with a possible engine fire. No big deal, no one hurt. The KHP crash logs have the Pfannenstiel accident listed. His pickup verses a semi, but why he veered into the semi is a secret only he knew.

I was told he worked at Excide and actually missed the exit there so he went to make a U-turn in the median. Must not have seen the semi. So sad. Sad

I was told he was on vacation. But it really doesn't matter at this point.
