Some Men and Their Toys of Ego

There is a guy living nearby who has a not-so-big yard and a not-so-small riding mower which has two, enormoid grass bags on back. I think the mower spends more time on his driveway turning around than it does on his lawn. I don't know, maybe he has a big backyard, but it amuses me each time I see him out there.

Any contributory anecdotes relevant to the topic are most welcome.

I borrow a rider, but mine takes a long time with a push mower. And I have a touch of asthma that's bothered most by lawn grass so it's not quite so rough with a rider.

My yard is a little more than 1/2 acre... I use a rider. We've got a little hilly thing in the back yard that's hard to shove a push mower up. Eh, I just wanted a rider, though. I like to mow.

We used to hook the brush trailer up to the mower and give the girls and their friends rides around the yard and around the cul de sac. They thought it was fun.

Anybody hear about the new 2011 Ford Superduty?

400hp/800ft-lb Powerstroker diesel available in a 3/4-ton pickup. They're gonna have to come out with a new and larger set of trailer-hitch balls for that one.
