| Hey all - I am looking to buy a good cheap digital point & shoot camera, I'd like to stay in the $100 range - does anyone have any recommendations? Luke I would love your input on this one! | |

| I like my Sony Cybershot but it is around 150.00 for it. Runs at 12.5 megapixels | |

| Well, it's been a while since I looked at whats on the market but I have a Canon that I have been pretty happy with. I would stay with Canon, Nikon, Fuji or Sony. | |

| I was leaning towards a Canon since that is what my DSLR is - the cheaper Canon Powershot. | |

| We have a Kodak EasyShare with Dual lens right now (I think its the v610, but they have a newer one like it), our main reason for choosing it was that the zoom lens did not come out of the front of the camera (we'd had past issues with that). We have been happy with it from the start. It's userfriendly and takes great picts. It now has a broken screen (I dropped it), but it works fine If I had to buy a new one tomorrow I'd go with the new Nikon... I think its a Koolpix or something like that? I think Walmart had some Nikon Koolpix at about 90. I'd also like a new camcorder... Not thrilled with the one we have. I'd like to get a Flip, I think. The one we have will be great for video of sports and performances as the kid grows, but for the clips of him walkin talkin and dancin, we don't even bother to get the video camera, we just use the video feature on the easyshare. (another reason to look into it! | |
