| this is just another government handout for the auto industry and those folks in a position to buy a new car while the rest of us get to pay for it. One HUGE flaw with this program was the fact that they did not offer it only for AMERICAN MADE CARS. | |

True. Not that we would have gone for a BRAND new car, but we're in a position to replace both of our vehicles with Newer cars in the near future, which are one and two years too NEW for the clunkers program. They're also creating quite a problem down the road for used car dealers and repairmen. | |

| It may not be the payments that get them. More likely the insurance and taxes/tags. | |
