Pay 2 Play

Next on tap for the 489 School Board Meeting: The Pay 2 Play thing. Since my daughter does 2 sports out at HHS I'm hoping if this passes it wont be astronomical. She may not be doing sports this year.

I have to wonder if some exceptional athlete couldn't afford to play would a "scholarship" be put into play? kinda like college players who don't get paid.......yeah right

I have to wonder if this is going to turn out to be all the rich kids playin. Not really cool for us parents that dont have a bunch of money.

I have a daughter who plays soccer and a son who will be playing soccer and basketball. I'd sooner pay for that than have some single mother denied all day kindergarten. As much as I love sports, they are an option. An education shouldn't be.

Or like the college players who ask admissions where the free dorm room the coach promised them is. Or the ones who can't spell "cat" on their best day.
